WordPress Development
Enterprise WordPress, built from scratch. No templates, no outsourcing, no compromises.

We build WordPress like enterprise software. Every site is a fully custom theme, written from the ground up by our own engineers. No page builders, no third-party themes, no inherited technical debt. That means complete control over performance, security, accessibility and scale and a CMS your team can actually use without calling us. WordPress powers over 40% of the web, but most agencies treat it as a shortcut. We treat it as a platform. Version-controlled builds, WCAG 2.1 AA compliance baked in from design, structured content modelling in ACF Pro, and a PRINCE2-certified project manager accountable from early development to going live.

Services
Custom WordPress Build & Design
Bespoke themes in semantic HTML5, SCSS and modern JavaScript, compiled and optimised through Webpack. Content editors get reusable, block-based components mapped directly to approved designs, with validation rules and in-CMS guidance so the site stays on-brand after we hand it over.Replatforming & Migration
Moving from Kentico, Umbraco, Drupal or a legacy build. We audit and map your existing content, rebuild the information architecture around how people actually use the site, and migrate with redirects, SEO equity and editorial workflows intact.Enterprise Integration & Custom Plugins
Your website is rarely the only system in play. We connect WordPress to CRMs, payment gateways, analytics platforms, booking engines and external data feeds, building custom plugins and APIs where off-the-shelf won't do. Every integration point is documented with fallbacks and error handling.Accessibility & Compliance
Accessibility is a design decision, not a retrofit. We build to WCAG 2.1 AA with semantic structure, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation and colour contrast handled during templating, then verify with Axe, WAVE and manual screen reader testing. Essential for public sector and increasingly non-negotiable for everyone else.Performance Optimisation
Slow sites lose customers and rankings. We optimise for Core Web Vitals through lazy loading, asset minification, SVG icon systems and layered caching at both server and application level, benchmarked with Lighthouse and WebPageTest before launch and monitored after.Hosting, Security & Support
Ongoing SLA-backed support with monitoring, patching, core and plugin updates, backups and rapid issue resolution. Security hardening follows OWASP recommendations, with plugin and theme audits, SSL, firewall and CDN configuration handled as standard.AI Integration for WordPress
Smarter site search, automated content workflows, personalisation and conversational assistants embedded directly into your CMS. We structure your content so it stays visible in AI search, and connect agents to live site data rather than a static export.

FAQ
01
Do you use page builders like Elementor or WPBakery?
No. Every build uses a fully custom theme developed in-house. Page builders add bloat, slow your site down and lock you into a third party's roadmap. Our block-based components give editors the same flexibility without the performance and security cost.
02
Can our team update the site without a developer?
No. We configure every system so your data stays yours, and we put that in writing. Where a client-facing tool handles personal data, we mask it and log access.
03
Is WordPress secure enough for enterprise or the public sector?
Yes, when it's built properly. We audit every plugin, write bespoke code with security in mind, harden in line with OWASP, and maintain the site under an ongoing SLA. The risk in WordPress comes from unmaintained plugins and cheap builds, not the platform.
04
How long does a WordPress project take?
Depends on scale, but a typical mid-size corporate site runs 12–16 weeks across discovery, design, development, QA and launch. Larger programmes with migration, bilingual content and multiple integrations run longer. You get a milestone plan and a Gantt view in Teamwork from day one.
