Design-Driven UI: Amplifying Webhelp’s Recruitment & Employer Brand

Revamping Webhelp’s careers website using a user-centric design and innovative features to enhance user experience and job discovery, strengthen the Webhelp brand, and consequently boost user engagement.

All while migrating their digital presence across 56 countries into a single Global Webhelp digital solution.

The Big Problem

Webhelp presented an interesting challenge…

They were already one of the leading BPO providers in the world. However, their website was not performing well and internally they had ambitious growth targets to reach.

The Research

Granite began by gaining a thorough understanding of their business offerings and identifying what changes would have the most impact.

Through workshops with Webhelp departments from around the world. Granite gained insight into the diversity of the business and contrasting need states between countries, allowing Granite to identify key areas for improvement.

Key Objectives

The objectives for the Webhelp website redesign and migration project were fourfold:

  • to standardise our global digital presence
  • to streamline the user experience
  • to optimise recruitment and sourcing operations
  • to future-proof the organisation with a scalable, sustainable web platform.

Strategic Creativity

Webhelp already has an established brand full of colour and energy.

To improve user experience Granite divided up the content into scannable bitesize blocks with clear, commercially focused, calls to action.

By brightening the brand colours and utilising their visual content, navigation was improved creating strong differentiation between B2B & jobseeker content and clearer CTA’s.

Every webpage offers substantial value to visitors, carefully crafted to serve a distinct purpose.

We integrated a vast portfolio of content including diverse elements, from insightful blog posts, and company updates to compelling career descriptions.

By adding interactive features like location-based job search and personalised content recommendations, we further enhance user engagement.

Central to the strategy is a “Global” approach, by combining global themes with localised specifics, we resonate with our diverse user base across various countries.

The Outcome

The innovative redesign of the Webhelp website has reaped numerous benefits.

It presents an engaging platform for various users – prospective employees, existing staff, clients, and stakeholders.

For job seekers, it simplifies the discovery and application process for relevant opportunities.

Existing employees can engage more deeply with our company culture and stay updated on company news and advancement opportunities.

Business Impact

“Partnering with Granite on our website redesign and migration project was a game-changing decision for Webhelp. Granite’s efficiency resulted in a user-centric platform that significantly improved business metrics across 56 countries.”
