American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland (AmCham) is the collective voice of US companies in Ireland and the leading international business organisation supporting the Transatlantic business relationship. Supporting members through networking, leadership development and representation to Government, Media and Stakeholders.

The Big Problem
As the representative body for US companies in Ireland charged with promoting the transatlantic trade and investment relationship, AmCham Ireland wanted to develop a new app which would enhance the membership experience. This app should allow members to access exclusive thought leadership content, browse and book upcoming events and seminars, and tailor communications to their area of interest.
The Solution
We developed a hybrid web/native app, which allowed existing code developed for the web-based membership portal to be leveraged, while still developing select native UI where appropriate. This allowed the app to be distributed through the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, and provided users with an app-like experience, all while minimising code duplication.

- An intuitive app that allows AmCham members to access a community of 180,000 people working for US multinationals in Ireland, discover and book events hosted by AmCham, and access exclusive content such as leadership insights and development programs. Push notifications allow users to receive updates from AmCham wherever they are.
