Sinead is an online marketing assistant and content writer at Granite Consulting. Coming from a print design background, Sinead originally joined Granite as an intern hoping to gain invaluable experience in modern website development to add to her experience in print.

Whilst learning what is essential to successful web design, she also fell into SEO and discovered a way to combine the marketing, branding, brainstorming awareness and computer skills learned from the study of design with a love of obtaining knowledge and writing.

A keen reader and enquirer from an early age with a strong artistic leaning, Sinead had chosen to pursue graphic design at CIT instead of academia, from which she obtained a Diploma in Design for Print Media Technologies.

Knowing that successful design and branding is as much down to good, clear communication as it is to enticing imagery, Sinead finds that in the right hands the web can provide a perfect venue to attract a contemporary and mobile audience.

An eternal student at heart, Sinead believes when creating content, in looking at things first from the potential viewer/clients prospective, before explaining a company’s message clearly and to the point avoiding unnecessary, complicated and alienating jargon.

When not writing varied web content and blogs or working behind the scenes researching and managing targets in the online marketing department of Granite Consulting she can be found studying Multimedia (video and sound editing, interactive web design (Joomla and Flash) latest multimedia developments) in with the intention of specialising in interactive web technologies to degree level at some point.
